This study compared two ways of delivering care to 657 people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) who also had mild to severe behavioral health symptoms like anxiety or depression. One approach used in-person support, while the other used technology-based care. The goal was to see which method better reduced IBD and behavioral health symptoms and improved daily functioning.
