First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study compares two hands-on treatments—instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) and dry cupping—for chronic neck pain caused by trigger points. About 75 adults aged 20-50 will receive standard physical therapy plus one of these methods for four weeks. Researchers will measure pain, neck movement, and daily function to see which approach works better.
