AI takes on neck pain: could a smart app replace your physical therapist?
NCT ID NCT07606729
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether an AI-driven home exercise program works as well as in-person physical therapy for people with long-term neck pain. Forty adults aged 18-35 with chronic neck pain will be split into two groups: one using a smart app that adjusts exercises daily, and the other receiving standard clinic-based therapy. Researchers will measure pain levels, neck movement, and daily function to see which approach is more effective and accessible.
