Summary
This phase 2 trial is testing a shorter course of radiation therapy (hypofractionated IMRT) given alongside chemotherapy (cisplatin) for cervical cancer. The goal is to see if this approach can reduce the overall treatment time from the usual 7-8 weeks while still controlling the tumor effectively. The study will enroll 34 patients with stage IIB-IVA cervical cancer and measure tumor shrinkage, recurrence rates, and side effects.
