Summary
This study tested whether a single session of hypnosis could help medical trainees reduce stress and anxiety related to work. Twenty-six doctors or first-year anesthesia residents took part. Researchers measured skin responses and thinking performance before and after hypnosis to see if it helped them manage negative thoughts.
