Can hypnosis reboot the brain? new study probes mind over matter for stroke and MS
NCT ID NCT07256704
Summary
This study is exploring whether hypnosis can be a helpful add-on therapy for people with neurological conditions like stroke, traumatic brain injury, or multiple sclerosis. It will test if hypnosis sessions are practical and acceptable for patients and if they show early signs of improving attention problems and reducing severe tiredness. Researchers will also use brain wave recordings (EEG) to see how the brain responds during hypnosis compared to a fake hypnosis session.
