First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether a single session of hyperbaric oxygen therapy can reduce brain damage in people who survive a hanging attempt. Researchers will compare standard intensive care alone versus standard care plus one oxygen treatment. The goal is to see if this approach lowers the risk of long-term memory, thinking, and mood problems. The study will include 50 adults in France.
