First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study tested a combination of an immunotherapy drug (Hu3F8) and a growth factor (GM-CSF) along with a standard drug (isotretinoin) in 59 children with high-risk neuroblastoma who had already achieved remission. The goal was to see if this treatment could prevent the cancer from returning. The approach aims to boost the immune system to attack any remaining cancer cells, but side effects are possible.
