Patients reveal hidden toll of painful skin disease
NCT ID NCT03572738
Summary
This study aimed to better understand how Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS), a painful and chronic skin condition, affects people's daily lives, mental health, and social well-being. Researchers surveyed 67 adults diagnosed with HS to measure its impact and test a simple photo-based tool that lets patients assess their own condition severity. The goal was to gather patient experiences to improve future care and communication.
