Can new hormone gels protect Women's hearts?

NCT ID NCT07394049

Summary

This study will follow 2,725 menopausal women for 10 years to see if newer forms of hormone replacement therapy (like creams, gels, or sprays) affect their risk of heart attacks, strokes, and other major heart problems. It focuses on women aged 45-75 who already have heart disease or are at high risk for it. The goal is to understand if these newer hormone delivery methods are safer or more protective for the heart compared to not using hormone therapy.
