Scientists track HPV vaccine protection in High-Risk women

NCT ID NCT05247853

Summary

This study examines how well the HPV vaccine protects against infections that can lead to cervical cancer over many years. Researchers followed 3,127 Rwandan women aged 18-28, including those living with and without HIV, to compare infection rates between vaccinated and unvaccinated groups. The research aims to understand long-term vaccine effectiveness in populations at highest risk for HPV-related cancers.
