First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether testing for HPV (the virus that causes cervical cancer) can help find cancer that comes back after radiation treatment. Researchers will follow 120 women for two years after their radiotherapy, using both a cervical swab and a blood test to check for HPV. The goal is to see if these tests can detect recurrence earlier than standard exams and imaging.
