First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study explores whether a simple self-sampling kit for HPV can help screen for cervical cancer in women aged 30-60 in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, during the ongoing war. Participants collect their own sample at home or a clinic and send it for testing. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and accepted by women and providers in a conflict zone, with the aim of creating a sustainable screening model for crisis settings.
