Home test kits offer lifeline for cervical cancer screening in War-Torn ukraine

NCT ID NCT07275333

Summary

This study is testing whether a simple, at-home self-sampling kit for HPV (the virus that causes cervical cancer) can provide effective screening for women in Ukraine during the ongoing war. It aims to offer 1,000 women aged 30-60 a convenient way to get tested when regular clinic visits are difficult. The project will measure if women use the kits, if the process works logistically during conflict, and if it helps ensure those who test positive get proper follow-up care.
