First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jul 01, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study uses a gentle ultrasound technique to temporarily change activity in brain areas linked to smell. Researchers want to understand how odors influence our actions. Eighty healthy adults aged 18-45 will do computer tasks while smelling different scents, with brain scans and body sensors tracking responses. This is basic science, not a treatment.
