Summary

This study aims to understand how insulin deprivation and high blood sugar affect protein synthesis in muscles and blood of people with type 1 diabetes. Researchers will use muscle biopsies and special amino acid labels to track protein production. The study involves 70 participants and is not testing any new treatment, but rather gathering knowledge to inform future therapies.
