Scientists probe why our fat tissue changes with age
NCT ID NCT06096532
Summary
This study aims to understand how blood flow in fat tissue differs between younger and older healthy adults. Researchers will compare 24 participants aged 18-35 with those aged 65-80, measuring blood flow before and after drinking a sugary drink and taking small fat tissue samples. The goal is to identify age-related changes that might affect metabolism and health.
