First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 05, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking hot spring baths can help young athletes recover their thinking skills and physical performance while training at simulated high altitudes. Twenty-seven healthy teens who already train regularly will be randomly assigned to hot spring baths, plain hot water baths, or standard rest. Researchers will measure attention, brain blood flow, and exercise capacity to see if the mineral-rich water offers extra benefits.
