First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests a new catheter and mapping system designed to treat paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AFib), a condition where the heart beats irregularly. About 300 adults with symptomatic AFib will undergo a procedure to destroy small areas of heart tissue causing the problem. The main goals are to see if the procedure is safe and prevents AFib from coming back for at least a year.
