New heart tool aims to stop AFib Flare-Ups

Summary
This study tests a new device (Sphere-360 catheter and mapping system) to treat paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, a condition where the heart beats irregularly for short periods. About 300 adults with this condition will receive a procedure that uses heat to destroy tiny areas of heart tissue causing the problem. The main goals are to see if the procedure is safe and prevents irregular heartbeats for at least 12 months.
