This study looked at whether a special honey (Trigona sp.) helps heal wounds after cleft palate surgery better than a standard antibiotic dressing. Twenty-four children aged 18 months to 6.5 years participated. Researchers measured a healing marker in saliva before and after surgery to compare the two treatments.
