Summary

This study tests whether a community home visiting program can improve postpartum care and reduce emergency room visits for high-risk mothers in the Mississippi Delta. About 500 women who recently gave birth will receive home visits and support. The goal is to build trust and reduce racial and geographic gaps in maternal health.
