Summary
This study tested a smart home system designed to help Spanish-speaking caregivers of people with dementia or memory problems. The system uses sensors and internet-connected devices to monitor the person being cared for and provide support to reduce caregiver stress, anxiety, and loneliness. Researchers aimed to see if using this technology improved caregivers' well-being and satisfaction over six months.
