Sniffing out COVID's lasting effects: can a home smell test track recovery?
NCT ID NCT05040659
Summary
This study is testing a home smell test kit to see if it can reliably track how people's sense of smell recovers after a COVID-19 infection. Researchers will send smell cards to 1,000 participants, including people who lost their smell from COVID, healthy people, and those with other smell issues. The goal is to gather better data on smell recovery to help design future treatments for long-term smell loss.
