First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using a non-invasive ventilator (BiPAP) at home can improve health in people with severe COPD who have high carbon dioxide levels. Forty adults with advanced COPD will use the machine nightly and be monitored for changes in blood gas levels, breathing difficulty, and quality of life. The goal is to see if home ventilation can help manage the disease better.
