Ear-Zapping device offers new hope for IBS sufferers

NCT ID NCT06847360

Summary

This study is testing whether a home-based device that gently stimulates a nerve in the ear can help young adults with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) manage their pain and other symptoms like anxiety and fatigue. Researchers will compare a real stimulation device to a fake one to see if it's practical, safe, and helpful for participants to use at home. The goal is to see if this non-drug approach can ease the daily burden of IBS.
