Scientists test 'Smart' brain stimulation for Parkinson's patients at home

Summary
This study is testing whether three new patterns of deep brain stimulation (DBS) are safe and comfortable for people with Parkinson's disease to use at home. The study involves 60 people who already have a stable DBS implant. Each participant will try one of the new stimulation patterns for two weeks and compare it to their usual settings to see if it helps with symptoms or quality of life.
