Summary

This Mayo Clinic study is testing whether a home-based brain stimulation device, combined with daily activities, can help people recover thinking and language skills after a stroke, brain tumor, or neurodegenerative disease. The research aims to see if this approach is practical to do at home and if it improves communication, memory, and overall quality of life. It involves 55 participants who are at least 3 months past their initial medical event and have ongoing cognitive or language difficulties.
