First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a home body water analyzer can help detect lymphedema early in breast cancer survivors. Lymphedema is swelling caused by fluid buildup after cancer treatment, and catching it early is key because early stages are reversible. 52 women used the device at home for a year to track fluid changes, with the goal of improving early diagnosis and management.
