NCT ID NCT07217223

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether a gentle, at-home brain stimulation technique called tDCS is safe and practical for people with depression that hasn't improved with standard treatments. Ten adults in San Diego will use a headset for three hours a day, five days a week, for two weeks, under remote supervision. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and tolerable, and to measure any changes in mood and brain activity to guide future research.
