Hospital at home: new study tests home care for infections

Summary
This study looks at whether a special team of doctors and nurses can treat adults with suspected infections at home, instead of sending them to the hospital. About 500 people will be randomly assigned to either standard hospital care or home-based care from a mobile response team. The goal is to see if home treatment can safely reduce the number of days spent in the hospital.
