Summary
This study tests a simpler, two-drug HIV treatment (dolutegravir/lamivudine) against the standard three-drug regimen in people who have both HIV and tuberculosis (TB). About 150 participants who have never taken HIV medication will be followed for 48 weeks. The goal is to see if the simpler regimen can control HIV just as well while they are on TB treatment.
