Chicago clinics test new strategy: friends helping friends get HIV care and substance use support
NCT ID NCT07414459
Summary
This study aims to improve community health by adding two services to a Chicago health center. First, all patients will be routinely screened for substance use. Second, a social network program will help participants connect friends or partners who may need HIV testing, care, or substance use treatment to the clinic. The goal is to find more people who need help, link them to services, and see if these approaches work well in everyday clinic practice.
