Summary

This study tested a new program called STARS for transgender women who have experienced intimate partner violence. The program aims to reduce HIV risk by promoting condom use, PrEP, and HIV testing. 37 participants were randomly assigned to STARS or a relaxation program and followed for 6 months. The results will help design a larger future study.
