Summary

This study tests an online program called all2GETHER that teaches relationship and communication skills to gay, bisexual, and queer men, as well as transgender and non-binary people who partner with cisgender men. The goal is to see if the program can lower HIV and STI rates. 5,000 participants will be randomly assigned to either the program or no program and followed for 2 years with at-home HIV and STI testing.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
all2GETHER relationship education program
What this could lead to
If effective, this program could provide a scalable, online tool to help reduce HIV and STI infections among gay, bisexual, and queer men and their partners.
What could go wrong
This is a behavioral intervention, not a drug or vaccine, so its impact may be modest. The trial is large but still relies on self-reported behaviors and at-home testing, which could affect accuracy.
