New app aims to tackle HIV and meth use together
NCT ID NCT07213258
Summary
This study is testing a new mobile app package designed to help HIV-negative men who have sex with men and use methamphetamine stay on their daily HIV prevention medication (PrEP). Researchers want to see if the app is easy to use and acceptable, and if it helps improve medication adherence over 6 months. The study will involve 100 participants in San Diego and San Francisco who will either use the app right away or after a waiting period.
