Researchers track cancer response to standard drugs in HIV patients

NCT ID NCT06480773

Summary

This study observes how HIV-related Kaposi Sarcoma, a type of cancer, responds to standard chemotherapy treatments given in Malawi and South Africa. It follows 127 adult patients already receiving standard care to understand why outcomes vary and identify markers that could predict who benefits most from treatment. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help doctors personalize future treatment plans.
