New vaccine trial aims to boost immune defense against Cancer-Causing virus in people with HIV

NCT ID NCT07090174

Summary

This study is testing an experimental vaccine called PDS0101 in adults living with HIV who also have an HPV 16 infection. The goal is to see if the vaccine is safe and can help the immune system fight the HPV virus, which can cause cervical and anal cancers. All 27 participants will receive three doses of the vaccine, and researchers will monitor for side effects and measure immune responses over several months.
