Scientists probe mystery of HIV drug weight gain

Summary
This study aims to understand why some HIV medications cause weight gain, a side effect that can lead to serious health problems. Researchers will measure how two common drugs affect the body's energy use in 120 healthy volunteers. Participants will take each drug for a short period while staying in a clinic, where detailed tests will track changes in their metabolism.
