Scientists watch HIV hideouts during suppression therapy

NCT ID NCT00767312

First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jul 01, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at HIV-infected adults who have been on antiretroviral therapy for a long time and have very low virus levels. Researchers want to see if the virus stays stable or changes over time. Participants visit the clinic every six months for blood tests and a special white blood cell collection. The goal is to learn more about how the virus behaves during treatment, not to test a new drug.
