First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will follow 10,000 people who need hip surgery to compare two approaches: hip preservation surgery (which tries to keep the natural hip joint) and total hip replacement (which replaces the joint). The goal is to see which surgery leads to better pain relief, function, and quality of life. Participants will fill out questionnaires about their symptoms and daily activities over time.
