What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this could give doctors a tool to predict how well a person will recover after a hip fracture, helping set realistic goals for rehabilitation.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study using existing data, not a treatment trial. The predictions may not be accurate for everyone, and the model needs further testing before it can be used in practice.
