First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will test two types of exercise—high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and moderate-intensity continuous training (MICT)—in 68 healthy young adults aged 18 to 21. Over 8 weeks, researchers will measure changes in cardiorespiratory fitness, testosterone and cortisol levels, and symptoms of anxiety and depression. The goal is to see which exercise style offers greater benefits for physical and mental health.
