Summary
This study looked at how adding high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to regular field hockey practice affects fitness and performance in teenage girls. Twenty-four players were split into two groups: one did only regular training, the other added HIIT three times a week for eight weeks. The HIIT group improved their endurance, balance, reaction time, and jumping ability, but lost some flexibility.
