First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at whether eating a high-protein yogurt after exercise helps muscles recover better overnight compared to a flavored water jelly. 26 healthy adults aged 18-45 took part. Researchers measured muscle strength, jump height, and soreness 12 and 24 hours after a workout. The goal was to see if the yogurt could speed up recovery and improve readiness for the next exercise session.
