Can a single intense workout boost brain power after spinal injury?

NCT ID NCT06274658

Summary

This study looked at how one session of high-intensity interval training affects heart and brain function in people with spinal cord injuries. Researchers compared 30 people with spinal cord injuries to 30 non-injured people during exercise sessions. They measured blood pressure, heart rate, and cognitive tests to understand how intense exercise impacts the body's automatic functions and thinking abilities after injury.
