First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special flickering light and sound therapy, done three times a week for three months, can improve thinking, walking, and mood in older adults who feel their memory is slipping. Sixty volunteers aged 65-89 with subjective cognitive decline will be compared to a group receiving plain white noise. Researchers will also check brain scans and blood markers for Alzheimer's disease.
