Blood test could replace surgery for endometriosis diagnosis
NCT ID NCT07006987
First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study is testing a new blood test called HerResolve™ to see if it can accurately detect endometriosis in women aged 18 to 49 who have symptoms like pelvic pain or abnormal bleeding. Currently, diagnosis often requires a surgical procedure called laparoscopy. The study will compare the blood test results to the surgical findings in 100 women to measure how well the test works.
