Could a smart test guide breast cancer to remission?

NCT ID NCT07459673

First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests a personalized treatment plan for people with HER2+ breast cancer that has spread. Doctors use a special blood test (ctDNA) and scans to decide when to increase or decrease therapy, along with treatments to prevent spread to the brain. The goal is to see if this approach can lead to long-term remission or even a cure. About 60 adults with stage IV HER2+ breast cancer will take part.
