First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests a treatment made from a child's own immune cells, modified to recognize and attack a protein called HER2 found on ependymoma tumors. The goal is to see if it is safe and feasible for children whose tumor has returned or not responded to standard therapy. Up to 50 children will receive the cells at multiple hospitals.
