This trial tests whether reducing the dialysate flow rate during hemodialysis from the standard 500 mL/min to 400 mL/min can maintain adequate blood cleansing while cutting water use. About 250 adults on chronic hemodialysis will each try both flow rates for one month. The main goal is to see if the lower rate is non-inferior in terms of urea removal, a key measure of dialysis quality.
