First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether filtering harmful substances from the blood (hemoadsorption) can help people with severe ischemic stroke. About 116 adults who had a stroke within the last 48 hours will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care or standard care plus hemoadsorption. The goal is to see if the treatment lowers the chance of major disability or death.
